Here's the deal, Dixie Girl. There's an opportunity for you to take advantage of everything the Pajarito Brewpub has built on. There's not enough room there, take advantage of what you have - space! Open your bar! Take advantage of your bar! Get cool bartenders, more beer and wine selections. Close the grill at 10:00 or, hey, even top Pajarito and keep that open a few more hours. Now you've got two advantages over them: more food, more space. Has Pajarito been crammed to the rafters every night not proved to this town that PEOPLE WILL GO IF YOU'RE OPEN LATE? Do all the things they can't do at Pajarito because of their space concerns: have weekly "geeks who drink" trivia! have Friday night music! show sport events and have discounts on food! seat groups of five with less than an hour and half wait! These are areas Pajarito is failing in and YOU can swoop in and take advantage of what they're building on: a culture in our town where people want to go and hang out and spend their money.
And get active on the social media front: it's the year 2013. Forget a website, get a Facebook page and get people to start liking it - update it with content.
Seize this moment! Oh, and open Hill Diner back up on Sundays, seriously, they're not the same market.
